Places to Visit in Kyrenia
ST.HILERION CASTLE / KYRENIA:

During the Peace Operation in 1974, Major İbrahim Karaoğlanoğlu and Captain Fehmi Ercan, called the current airport, were shot with a rocket launcher at the door of the house they used as headquarters. That house is now a museum and martyrdom in memory of them and the martyrs of Cyprus. There is a cemetery in the cemetery. In the museum section, there are presentations about the peace operation and items left from the operation.
